Pre 1946 dwelling, raised, reconfigured and renovated. By putting the main living/dining and kitchen spaces on the ground floor this instilled a sense of connection to the rear garden and outdoor entertaining space. The guest quarters also placed on the ground floor, has a direct link to its own private outdoor space at the front of the property.
Main bedrooms and retreat space on the upper level within the structure of the original dwelling. A feeling connection between the retreat and the main ground floor space is created via a large void over the dining space.
